Betti Altieri is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and President of B.A. Consultants Inc., a New York based Real Estate Management and Consulting firm established in 1989.   Ms. Altieri has worked in real estate development, construction and management for over 18 years.  Ms. Altieri learned about DHCR regulations while managing Rent Controlled, Rent Stabilized  and co-op units for  Real Estate Developers in the 1980's.  Ms. Altieri has attended Rent Stabilization Association (RSA) seminars and has many years of hands-on experience.

Since establishing her own successful business, Ms. Altieri has increased her expertise of DHCR regulations and other legislation affecting the Real Estate Industry by attending various industry seminars and courses.  She has been certified as an Asbestos Air Monitor and is currently certified as a Lead Paint Inspector.

Her extensive knowledge of all phases of construction and building systems enables her to provide full management services, construction management services and construction consulting, in addition to the paperwork management services that her company provides for hundreds of clients.

Ms. Altieri's knowledge of the entire process involved in the purchase or refinance of multiple dwelling properties has been further enhanced by her work as a legal assistant for a Brooklyn real estate attorney for the past 10 years.  Her comprehensive background in co-op and condo conversions has enabled her to work effectively with co-op and condo boards and HDFC co-ops.

DHCRexpert.com was Ms. Altieri's brainchild, established in order to provide top quality paperwork management services to all New York Landlords.  She is "The DHCR Expert".
